Alternator type

Anyone know what series of alternators a 1995 Z28 would use?

I'm not asking for the part number but what industry designation or series. I've seen references to GM alternators like AD 244/237 and so forth. That's what I'm asking for.

Re: Alternator type

CS-144 is the only designation I am familiar with for the LT1's 124 amp (1993) and 140 amp (94 and up) alternator.
