alternator relocation idea. will it work?
this in my idea.
move alternator to the lower passenger side like madmans kit with this
(bottom of the page)
it says it uses the corvette damper but i have the universal pioneer damper with the spacers for all lt1 engines so thats no prob.
shim the power steering pump and belt tensioner and use the pulley off my ac delete to mount where madman has his (shimed of course). link
i would just buy madmans kit but i need a new alternator and the cs130's that this bracket uses are way cheaper.plus its a learning experince. does this idea sound reasonable to those who might know more than me?
