I just put in LT Headers. Just wondering if any problem of just attaching the alternator to three bolts/brackets and not bothern with the fourth one- the one that the bracket connects to the header bolt. That one seems to be a pain getting the bracket piece in. So I tightened just the three bolts/brackets. It seems stationary enough- anyone forsee any problems?

 

Don't think there is a problem with fixing only 3 bolts to the alt, my impy alt is only fixed on 2 bolts and its running fine so far. You can notch the header slightly yo fit the oem stud and spacer with the bottom alt brace for piece of mind.

I also left that bracket off after my header install. I took one look at it and said that isn't going back in, so far no problems.
