Almost there guys, cam install is almost complete..

What a ride this has been so far.. first cam install for myself and fellow cz28.com'er Dave.. but had good ole Dan to help us out with the experience..

Anywho.. the valve springs were a hell of a chore but are finally done.. just need to put the radiator back on and set the valve lash.. then some more quick buttoning up and checking on things and I'll be DONE...

Wish me luck, can't wait to get this 224/230 started up

Tell me about it, the pita for when I did mine recently was droping the oil pan slightly, you would think it would be a easy chore but the cooling line that go to the tranny get in the way off at least three bolts. And then theres scrapping all the old gasket off the water pump and intake. I trully hated that but after that was on everything else went in fine, she started right up. Just make sure you dont forget to plug back in everything on the intake. I think I missed the iac connection the first try(just a little heads up). Good luck man.

I'm guessing you have stock heads right? What springs and RRs are you using. Are you going to tune it and if so who is doing it? Also where did you purchase all your parts at? Sorry for all the questions but I plan on putting this exact cam in my car this summer so I'm trying to get as much info as possible. Thanks and good luck with the rest of the install.
