All true dual owners inside please..

Just wondering if there's any true duals owners on here that are having problems with the way the car cruises at idle. Do you guys get a slight hesitation/backfire...not really sure how to describe it. I'm having the same problem and a buddy of mine with a 69 camaro with his exhaust dumped at the rear axle is doing the same thing. He said it was because of the lack of back pressure at low rpms. Is there any way to fix this problem or are all of you with true duals living with it. I was thinking that it could be fixed with a tune but right now i'm sorta at a loss of ideas.

Ive heard of that problem. You need to somehow connect the two sides with a piece of exhaust Pipe kinda like an H pipe effect. It will flow much more smoothly and reduce pops to a bare minimum. If you cant do that (which most people dont) then you gota live with it....

I've have 2 difrent dual setups, one on a stock car and one on a heads/cam car. Neither had this problem. And both were 3" pipe with an x-pipe.

Well that eliminates the posobility of everyone with true duals having the same problem. Could anyone help me out with the problem then. It's almost like a slight misfire at at steady throttle every couple of seconds....soon as i get on the gas though it's perfect.....timing?
