Re: ALL possible causes for misfire...

almost anything CAN cause an intermittant cylinder miss-fire (miss), the list is huge. Throw out some better symptoms & diagnostic info, maybe someone can help you narrow it down. Right now, you havent given us much to go on....

Re: ALL possible causes for misfire...

well im throwing a random cylinder missfire code. i need to know really what sensors, or anything else related can cause this. Im changing the plug wires tomorrow, im going to readjust the rockers(i had rockers put on, and one is ticking, im thinking a few may not be adjust right, so im going to go over them tomorrow , i did this once before on my firneds car and it solved the problem.) the coil is decently new. once i go through this and still not fixed, im going to go the opti route. so yeah thats whats the plan so far

Re: ALL possible causes for misfire...

My random miss seems to have resolved itself. I think it was a batch of bad gas. I picked it up after some bodywork and it set a code right in the parking lot. Was nearly dry so I gassed up (premium) and went home and cleared the codes. Hasn't reset since so I have my fingers crossed.
