are all knock sensors the same (GM)

Good morning guys n gals.
I've FINALLY got around to purchase a stand alone LT1 harness for this BMW swap and with spring cleaning, "UN-burying" the bmw with all the crap I've put around it and on top of it.

SO, If I remember right one or both knock sensors were damaged when the engines were pulled.
(i've got 3 LT versions, 2-B-body {1-4.8 Caprice and 1-5.7 Roadmaster} and 1 F-body)

Can I just pull off one and screw into another block OR does it have to be side or model specific? OR even ECU specific?

Thanks E

It all depends on which ECM you are using. If the ecm came from a B body then you need to use 2 knock sensors if it came from a F body then use only one.

Also depends on the year of the PCM. 93-95 F-Body LT1 use a 4500 ohm knock sensor, 96/97 LT1 used a 100,000 ohm sensor.
