looking for info on removing bags from a 94 Formula. Any info will be appreciated.

 

I removed the air bag on the driver side when I replaced the steering wheel. I removed the firing mechanism from the old wheel and removed the coil from the steering column. Then so the light would not come on all the time and so the AIR bag test would pass, I taped the 2 parts together and stuck them under the dash.

I have not got a clue how to remove the passenger side. Be careful when you remove the coil in the steering column, it holds the 2 wires to the ignition switch for the VATs. Mine wore through and I had to bypass them.

 

May i ask why take it out unless it is going to be a strip car????? They saved me from serious injury in my 93 z28.
