AIR system and passing emissions

If I take the AIR system off my 95 Z28 will I still be able to pass emissions in my state (Virginia)? The reason I am doing this is because we are having problems getting all of the AIR stuff hooked back up and some of it was broken. It would just be easier to cap off the AIR fittings on the headers and get rid of all the AIR tubes.

Im not sure how strict your emissions are in virginia but if they have a visual test it will not pass since its considered part of the emissions

I can get it passed the visual part. I am just worried about the sniffer.

AIR only works for a couple minutes at startup to help heat the cat(s). I don't know of any emissions dyno programs that run the engine from a cold start, so it shouldn't affect the sniffer at all.
