Air lift 1000 bag question...

http://store.summitracing.com/eprodu...302601&x=14&y=
So what do they do? I know they help our cars when put in the rear coils. But what would they do on the front of a vehicle with a coil-in-shock set up like our Blazer? Do they just simply replace the shock and help the ride out? Thanks for any help!

When used in pairs, they are generally used to increase the rear load carrying capacity of the springs. But that's not why you put them in a 4th Gen F-Body. For drag racing, you put (only) one in the right rear spring to "preload" the suspension and prevent the torque on the rear axle from pushing the right rear corner of the car down, and lifting the left front tire. Keeps the car going straight, and spreads the traction evenly over the left and right sides.

You would not use them to replace a shock in a "coil-over" situation.

So they wouldn't be a good idea for the Blazer?
