just put heads/cam in the car, along with a spec stage 3 clutch, my idle is set at 875, and when i take off normal from a stop ON FLAT ground, i really have to get into it or else it chatters real bad, how can i fix this, i for sure everything was installe 100% correctly, ( my dad is an ase certified tech ), the shifter shakes bad and the car almost dies, unless i give it alot of gas then its fine, but thats not the best for my clutch, any suggestions?

 

Give that clutch some time to break in.Thats what I have read about the Spec clutches.Should go away after 500 miles.

 

i think i explained that wrong, is clutch chatter a noise or a feeling? mine isn't making any noise, i explained the feeling as a chatter,

 

i just put in a cam too. i hear a chatter when the car is sitting in neutral....the clutch was always loud but now the rough idle makes the clutch noise is almost "clanky" and very noticable.

as for starting off in first....it does take more throttle and a little riding of the clutch to get her moving. i read that power programming helps the drivability. im not sure what route to take.

if you find out......LET ME KNOW! i also want to know if power programming will give me more power out of my cam....
