Aftermarket Throttle Body

Soon I'll be receiving my LT1 from a 95 corvette, and I'd like to build it up a little before putting it in my 92 Camaro. I'd like to plan everything I can out first so I have parts that compliment each other.

So far I'm considering Lloyd Eliot's LE2 head/cam package and perhaps a 58mm ported/polished intake manifold.

I've seen some 58mm TB's from Edelbrock and BBK and was basically wondering if they make a noticealbe difference over the stock unit.

Does porting/polishing the intake manifold make a worthwhile improvement as well?

go with the 58mm TB for sure. The stock is a 48mm that will restrict your flow. As far as the intake being ported, i have heard that there is no power to be had from porting the intake but then again i have heard that it is worth while. E-mail lloyd and ask him. He ports them for $150.
