After Cam Swap Dyno Numbers!
After Cam Swap Dyno Numbers!
Well I finally got my Cam swap done.....
Went with the CC306, 1.6 RR, Mac Headers, and some minor work done to the heads, I guess they machined the cumbustion chamber above and below the valve seats and had a three angle valve job.
Well I went to a local dyno day today and ended up having it tuned.....
My best run was a 343 RWHP and 342 LB/FT with a A/F ratio as flat as a board. Not to shabby for the small amount of money I have in it.....None of the LS1's there could even get close to mustering up the power I put down.
Thanks everyone for the advice I have gotten from here!

Nice numbers! Can you give me a detailed list of all the mods you've got?Just think what you can do with some more head work!
Let me know what kind of mpg changes you see -- I'm thinking of getting that cam.

Alex,
This is what has been done to the car...
CC306 Cam
CC 1.6 Magnum Roller Rockers
CC OEM Replacement Lifters
CC Hardened Pushrods
Crane Cams Dual Valve springs
Mac Headers W/ Off Road Y-Pipe
SLP Two On the Left Catback
MSD 8.5MM Plug wires(don't like them tough they are very hard to run and do not fit in the stock looms)
SLP Cold Air Intake
For the heads I had a three angle valve job done, and then some minor work to the combustion cambers above and below the valve seats
Custom Tuned by BV Performance out of Willow Springs, IL at Dyno Pro Performance.
-----------------------------
Jucin,
Don't think that I have ever met you but I am up in the Orland area all the time. Not really into the race scene though...
I did all the work except for the heads by myself...
Maybe next sunday Ill stop up there at VC and see whats up and you can have a look at the car....
E-mail me here white97z28@attbi.com
--------------
There was no baseline pulls for this car as it was done out of need...I had some oil in the coolant so it had to be parked and ripped down so it was kind of spur of the moment...I figure it was in the 265 or 270 range to start with....
