AFR LE Portwork (PICS)

Just recieved my heads back from Lloyd. I already recieved my Bret cam, and will recieve my ported manifold tomorrow. First off I have to say, Mr. Elliot has byfar the best customer service I have ever been given by anyone. I would refer Mr. Elliot and Mr. Bauer to anyone considering future builds/work/package. Extremely patient, and knowledgable. I will definately do business with them again, without a doubt. I am waiting on a copy of the flow sheet, but if I remember correctly the .600 numbers were 286/214. They will be going on my 383 (11.1). Here they are.

AFR 1

AFR 2

AFR 3

AFR 4

AFR 5

OLD EXHAUST PORT

Nice! I bought a set of the 180's and didn't touch them, just bolted them on.
Maybe I should have had some port work done first??
Looks good

Awsome heads. I just got my LT4's back from Lloyd and they look very nice as well. What size valves do you have? What about your .400" numbers? Sounds like you are running a similar setup to mine, although I haven't gotten my cam yet because my shortblock isn't assembled yet.

Re: AFR LE Portwork (PICS)

they were AFR 190's, with a 2.02 1.60 valve. I went with an LE2 383 Cam, since it will be daily driven almost..

Great looking heads man! Did you check what your final intake volume was? Just curious. I'm really up in the air with decisions. I don't know if I should have my stockers ported or if I should get the 195 competition port from AFR w/lt4 intake AND TRY A 233/239 CAM from Combination Motorsports.Enough about me ,great looking heads man!

later,
Vicious

I agree. Great customer service and work by Lloyd and Bret. I am working on my LE3 combo right now and Lloyd has been very patient with me and all my questions. I have been dealing with Lloyd for a few years now and this is the second set of stock heads he has ported for me. Great looking heads by the way. I wish I could have afforded a set of AFR's ported by Lloyd.

Very nice looking, I have the same heads and have contemplated sending them to Lloyd. If you dont mind could you PM me the price you paid for what you had done?
