the 190's aren't on there as they discontinued them but I found the flow sheets on google. Now I just need to find some for sale hopefully. Later, Jarred

We flowed a couple sets at Thunder Racing and found 240 cfm peak with one set and 233 with another, versus AFR's advertised numbers of 262 cfm.

The 210's, however, all flowed 280 cfm out the box versus 285 advertised.

Thanks for the helpful info. What about the 180's or the 195's? I know they discontinued the 190's because supposedly the 180's flow better. Thanks, Jarred

I wouldn't get anything less than the 210's. I'm on my second set now and I like them alot.

The smaller heads don't have as much intake CNC porting as the 210's, 220's, and 227's. No matter if they are 180 or 195, they won't come near 280 true cfm.

What type of bench did you flow them on?

I thought the larger CFMs reduced port velocity which reduced torque and increases HP. Am I right? So, doesn't it depend on the overall package to determine which head CFM to go with? (Engine displacement, exhaust, intake, cam, etc).

Well here are my cam specs. 242/252 110lobe sep. .580lift with 1.6RR's. So I probably need a head that flows very well what do you think?

For that cam, definately. But I was inquisitive about the limits within the stock bottom end and a mild cam (224/230). Wouldn't the port velocity be reduced with such a mild cam? Wouldn't that disrupt torque? I'm not speaking as an authority, just a question.

Your numbers in the Car Craft article really hit the point. Thanks for the thread.
