Advanced look at subframes

I still dont have sub-frames because I cant decide,
The BMRs look strong but with only 2 contact points on the body it doesn't look like they would prevent much twisting. I would think somthing like SLP or the Kenny Brow SFCs that attach in the middle as well would be much more useful. What do you guys think?

I have BMR SFCs. It's more than enough for my application, I don't do autocross. Depends on what you plan to do with your car.

subframes

I am fairly educated on this one after talking to autocrossers, many shops, and many drag strip car people. I will tell you what I was told both by the installer and the others. The installer said that the kenny brown DD's are hard *** hell to install and quite a bit more expensive. If you need a drive shaft loop or already have one then go with those as they will stiffen up the car monumentally! They will withstand launches of that caliber. The guy who used the bolt in slps who autocrosses and owns QCR told me that the bolts will loosen (tightening after launches is frequent), and they will create more rattles, cuz there is virtually no twisting in the car. He told me for my drag racing and street purposes that bmr's would probably suit me best as well as many people who owned them said as well. I put them on my bro's and my car just last week to stop the quarter panel dents. The difference in strength and PIA install between the two isnt worth it unless u r an autoxer. Sorry for the book, just wanted to tell you all I was told. Good luck on your decision. -Michael

The KBDDs arent that hard to install....I prefitted them and then had a muffler shop weld um up for $75. I had them roll and weld the rocker panel seems down each side to them as well. It made all the difference in the world on the twisties....Im very pleased with them.
