Question Adding 52mm, 22lb injectors will ECM adjust accordingly?

If I add the 52mm throttle body and the 22lb injectors will the stock computer learn, and adjust ? Will I have to do anything to the ECM?

There's not really anything for the PCM to adjust to with a 52mm TB... you aren't going to see any real differences in anything.

As far as the injectors, you are DOWNSIZING the stock injectors by almost 10% (not sure why you would want to do that), and it will force the long term fuel corrections (BLM's) to increase pulse width proportionally to get the fuel delivery back where it belongs. The BLM's can go as high as 25% before you get into SES problems, so it might get by with no programming. But the question is, why would you put in a larger TB and smaller injectors?

I certainly do not want to downsize at all. I don't know what the stock size of the injectors are or what size would go well with a 52mm throttle body. One of the mechanics at the dealership I work for offered to sell me a bbk 52mm throttle boddy and those 22lb fuel injectors for 150 bucks. Guess I should have broke out the Helms manuals before I posted this ridiculous thread!

GO with the 52mm Holley or 58mm and bore out the intake and something like 28/30lb injectors
just my thoughts.

what are your goals here? is your car a auto or m6?

you dont need bigger injectors till your close to 400rwhp.

the TB you wont need till you get into heads and cam combos.

spend your money on headers, CAI, exhaust, suspension.

I think the 93's came with the 22lb injectors, after that up to and including 97 had 24lb injectors.

You don't need bigger injectors until your motor requirements increase. There are people that bore out the stock 48mm to 52mm for alot less than the name brand stuff. I picked up mine for $150

What have you already done to your car, headers, cold air, gears?

As others have said, the throttle body and injectors are typically not entry level mods in terms of bang for the buck performance.

The PCM will need to be redone if you change injectors, but for the throttle body it is not necessary.

BTW: My 52mm throttle body did nothing for me on a stock engine.
