Lingenfelter makes a SuperRam intake that is made to fit LT1 motors. It does not help the top end, but adds a bunch of torque.
Not sure if the Accell part number is the same as the one in the original post, but summit and lingenfelter both sell it.
(EDIT: found the part numbers: baseplate - 74197L, plenum and runners - 74196.)
I am sure that posts will be made to stick with the factory piece.
