Hey all. I am building my new 383 and I want to use ALL new bolts. I need ALL the accesory bracket bolts and all the bolts that are used for the ac compressor, alt, belt tentioner, power steerig pump, etc.. etc.. etc... Can anyone help me out? I need them ALL, part numbers or something or messurments, quantity, and a site where i can get them? Thanks in advance.

I can look up all the bolts but it may take a lil while. I have tomorrow off so maybe I can work on it for a lil bit. Send me your email in the meantime.

When you go through the wholesale contacts on shbox's site, double check the part numbers with them and it may be a special order since it's bolts. Usually takes a lil over 30 days or a lil more but you will get them, just ask how long it will take in case you decide of hitting up the hardware isle. I tried ARP a few times but usually they only have bolts for older gen SBC.

That way you can locate just what you need.
It takes a while to locate all that stuff.

I was not trying to put you off, but using the parts book can be very helpful in a lot of ways. Lately, I just don't have the time I used to. Holler if you need some help with it.

 

Shoebox, I didn't get to far with that parts list. I got a diagram of the acces bracket but i cant really read which bolts are for what......If u have some spare time, can ya give me a hand?

Not all have the bolt sizes, but there will be part numbers. I think that will cover all the bolts you are looking for. There might be some duplicate listings for some bolts in the views.

 

I sent you an email of what I came up with. Please double check them off the manual and verify it with the dealer. Hopefully that will be a head start for you. I didn't want to post it in here yet in case there are mistakes...but if all of them are correct, maybe you can post the finalized bolt list back in this thread for people to use for reference.
