Accel DFI questions... speed density vs. mass air

I was trying to buy a wiring harness for speed/density TPI models for Accel's gen 6 DFI. With this harness I am supposed to be able to plug into the stock PCM and other end into the DFI unit and then the DFI unit is connected and ready to run.

However, my 94 LT1 is of course not speed/density... it is mass-air. I was under the impression that you had to switch to S/D when going DFI? is that not true?

comments, questions?

When you switch over to DFI you are in fact converting your car over to Speed Density. If you are missing any harnesses I would recommend contacting Mac at www.fasttrackperformance.com.

Yes, i've contacted www.fasttrackperformance.com and they have the harness I need. However, this harness is considerably less money. Therefore, IF this harness is made for a TPI speed/density setup, will that work for me since I have to switch to SD anyway?
