AC problem....

Hey all.... it just wont stop. When it rains it pours. Anyway my AC will work most of the time but sometimes it seems like it turns off and the air is warm...then about 4 minutes later or when I get on it it gets cold again. I just had it charged again a couple of months ago when I put my motor in. Any ideas????

Dude, I feel so bad for you....

Anyway, only way to really know for sure if to have a pressure check done. If thats good then you may have a bad pressure switch. When it is blowing warm (occasionally) have you noticed the compressor on or off?

I'd verify that you don't have a loose connection where the control wire connects to the compressor. An intermittent connection would cause your issue. Some of the scan tools like Diacom can read the pressure of your AC system (the AC system has a pressure transducer). This could tell you if your pressure is low.

You may want if all fails is change your accummulator/dryer.
