Car dies when put into gear!!!

You can see my mods below, and it is .......or was tuned.

the only recent additions to the car were functional ram air, and a alternator overdrive pulley.

it was cold, let the car warm-up for like ten minutes, put into reverse the rpm's dropped and it died......same when i put it into drive!!!!! so i foot braked it and got it into gear and my rpm's were at like 600 !!!!!!!! drove it to work no problem. once i was there i startred put it in and out of reverse and OD no problems!!!

what is going on???????

Did you have the battery disconnected (maybe when you worked on the alternator)? If so, it takes the pcm time to relearn what was erased. It's normal for you to have some slight drivability problems until it relearns in all cells.

If you will indulge me, WTF is way annoying and offensive. I think this may be the last post I will reply to that has that in the content.

My winter car (93 grand am GT) was acting similar to yours ealier and it turned out to be a vacuum hose was somehow cut so i replaced it and it ran fine.. Dont know if thats your problem, but it would be a easy thing to check.
