Looking for a t-stat for my 93 LT1. I would like delco. How much for a 185 stat? Thanks!

 

I can't see it being over $10. The Hypertech sells for about $20, and even that is too much.

The stock thermostat in the LT1s is 180 degrees (unlike most small block chevys). Going to 185 could possibly cause some detonation issues. Most people opt for a 160 degree unit if they want to go one step colder.
