The 95 Z28 uses an HR6 compressor. So does the 1983, 84 J-cars (Chevy Cavalier etc), if that helps. We just figured that out today, working on said year of Cavalier compressor and reading the cross-reference list that came with my re-man Z28 compressor. Reman form Murray's.

 

What may be a concern is there are two different positions for the pressure lines and only one can be used while the other is permanently sealed.
