Ac compressor went out. Any idea how much they run and approx. labor hours. Thanks. Car in sig.

 

Car made awful sound. Opened hood to see that ac pulley was struggling to turn. It would move about 1 turn then stop move another half a turn then stop. Now it won't turn at all. I'm guessing the clutch went out but hoping that it didn't damage the compressor. Any ideas.
