About to replace o2's, dumb question.
About to replace o2's, dumb question.
Ok so I ran datamaster and found out I had a bad o2 sensor, reading a constant 450mv, while the other one bounced around in the 900's. Pulled the right side (bad) sensor. Man what a PITA. It was black and nasty. So I bought a new one for an excellent price from a guy on Ebay, its an ACDELCO. I figure I'll go ahead and replace the left one since its probably dirty too from running rich in open loop for so long. The guy has another brand new sensor I can buy but its a bosch.
So is it ok to use different brands of sensors on each side? I read in other posts the Bosch's were junk, any truth to that?

Re: About to replace o2's, dumb question.
I would definitely not do that. You shouldn't run different O2 sensors....you want consistent readings for each bank.
Bosch sucks. Stay away from them. Stick with AC Delco AFS-75's...

I have heard that LT1s' do not like Bosch 02 sensors, I personally don't have any experiences with them. You can get one from Dal or Jason for about $35 not to bad if you ask me.
