A4-M6 Swap problems (just when I thought everything was good)

We took it off the jacks and put the interior together, started her up and now it won't go anywhere, here's what the symptoms are:

The clutch pedal sits like it's half way pressed in, doesn't come up all the way. When we first pushed in the clutch, it leaked a little bit of fluid. I'll put it in gear, and the lights will dim.

Is the clutch just not engaging? Could the master cylinder/slave cylinder be shot? Am I screwed? Do I need to just take it to someone and prepare for my pocketbook to get raped? Anyone in the area (northern VA) who could take a look at it for me?

If you have any other questions that would help you figure tis out with me, feel free to ask. I leave for school next wednesday, kind of need my car to go there.

Thanks for your help

My suggestion would be to buy a new master/slave cylinder. It is not suppose to leak like that. That is way it sits half way, its not pressurized all the way. Hope things work out for you.

did you get a new computer? You will need a new computer with your manual tranny b/c that sets all your RPMs, speed, etc. It might also reflect upon your question. Can pick one up from a junkyard for $40. (I would do that before taking it anywhere). good luck

well, i attemped to bleed the clutch system today, and it just leaked brake fluid from the master cylinder, there is a rip in it.

So I ordered a new one today, it'll be here tomorrow, hope that helps.

The electical system seems to be kinda weak too, the car stutters as it turns on, and when i hit the lock button on my remote the honks are quieter then usual, could that just be from it not being turned on for 2 weeks?

I'd put money on it being the master/slave cylinder if there's a leak. Ignore the comment about the ecu. I'm still driving on my automatic ecu that hasn't been reprogrammed after the swap. Its unnecessary for operation, and if you have an obd-1 car, the only codes it will throw is the tcc lockup and transmission shift solenoid error. Does not affect engine performance at all.
