u are having touble b/c u a have a big stall and OBD1. OBD1 WILL NOT shift under WOT with a stall over 3500. so i would suggest a smaller stall or a OBD2 conversion for a high stall

Mine does the same thing at WOT, Wont shift in to 3rd and the 1 , 2 shift slips bad too, I think it is time for a rebuild
