cam change question..
cam change question..
Alrighty, tearing into the engine to do the heads and cam thing..
putting in an XE 224/230.. I have always worked with new components and fresh rebuilds.. so the question is this should I bother replacing my stock lifters that have 50k on them? Or is it a waste of money better spent somewhere else?
I am also going to be the guinea pig and try out the new edelbrock heads.. though I may "improve" upon them if I don't like the way they look out of the box.. I will keep you all posted with numbers after it is all said and done..

I left mine in with my first cam change but will be swapping lifters with this upcoming cam swap for added insurance.
As long as there isn't any damage, collapse, etc...I'm sure you could use the stock lifters but you can pick up a set of CC lifters for under $200.
