A4 to 6M 60ft times

I have a A4 now with a 2800 stall. I was considering buying a car with a 6M. I have great times off the line now and would hate to sacrifice for the 6M. What are some times I could expect and what does it take to get them. Such as clutch,plate,ect... Thanks

Re: A4 to 6M 60ft times

m6 makes launching consistantly a biotch
but if you have the parts to take the crap it will put out i think its worth it for the extra fun of driving it
baisically what youll need to keep those short times low is a beefier rear end (12 bolt/9 inch) some really sticky tires and a bada$$ clutch (spec/mcleod)
in all honesty if you wanna keep your times down then stick with the auto but if your hell bent on the 6speed go for it

if theres nothing wrong with ur trans now i whould leave it. A well stalled auto will rape an m6 anyday of the week. When i had my 94 Z m6 it was not hard to launch consistantly it was hard geting my 1/4mile time consistant.
