I have a 97 Camaro z28, recently got out of maintenance for the harmonic balancer and the water pump and some hoses replaced and it drove great afterwards for 2 months then the fuel pump went out and that was replaced as well as the optispark and the vehicle will not start.. right before the optispark was replaced the car could be read by an obd2 reader, then after replacing the optispark the reader says the car is unreadable.

We prefer that you post a topic on only on forum, to avoid confusion and duplicate responses. I'll close the duplicate in "Fuel and Ignition". Anyone who follows that forum is going to be reading this forum as well.

Check your fuses. The ALDL connector is powered by the cigarette lighter fuse. Check in particular the PCM and sensor fuses.

 

Make sure the opti was put on and alighned right.....if not your timing will forever be off and it will not start.
