97 Trans Am fuse box..

Which is the constant 12v and which is the switched 12v when looking at the back of the fuse box?
Im installing an aftermarket alarm system using Brent's awesome guide.. but his fuse box is different.

If it says "BAT" on the front, it is hot all the time.

If it says "IGN", it is hot when the key is ON.

I would use a test light or meter to verify what you have.

Oh, does the front match the back?

If it says ign on the front diagram, will the connection i have to sauder to directly behind that?

Sure, the wires on the back are what feed the fuse slots on the front. Just make sure you get the right position. One of the wires will be the the power feed side and the other will be the "load" side (the part of the circuit that the fuse protects). I would still verify with a meter or test light.
