Oil Dipstick Pull It? Help Please

I should have both headers out of the car today, other then the few bolts on the #8 cylinder the dipstick it whats getting in the way. I took off the bolt that holds it to the block, to get it completely out do I just pull it from up top? Is there something that I'm missing?

Pull straight up and don't bend it. You might need to twist it a little. Only the bolt you took out secures it.

That 1 bolt is all that secures it. But it doesnt come out very easy. Just be patient with it and it will come out. I have always found it easier to push it out. Laying under the car, grab hold of the tube and push/twist up till it pops out. The bottom portion of the tube is very long. About 6" of the tube is in the block below the hole. Going back in is a real pain. I usually just cut 3-4 inches of the tube off to get it back in easier.
