97+ tail lights on a 93-96 Camaro? How/what are the differences?

97+ tail lights on a 93-96 Camaro? How/what are the differences?
Well my 95 Z28 has 97+ tail lights on it and my reverse lights dont work. Im wondering if itsbecause the previous owner threw these lights in and just called it a day. Do i need to go get the original tails or what? Thanks CZ28.com
