my 97 lt1 bogs from about 2k-2.5k rpm then runs fine, cant find vacuum leak or anything.. i was thinking it was my spark plug gap.. the car has cam, headers, exhaust, stage 2 clutch, 12 bolt rear end, opti spark and some other that i cant think of. the engine only has 27k miles since rebuild, can anyone please help me!!!

 

Who tuned for the cam? How big is the cam? What brand is the Opti (assuming you meant it has a new Opti)? How old is it?

 

The cam is comp cam 292/300.. it has msd opti spark. I don't know who tuned it but I know its tuned with efi live.. and most all the parts has less tthen 15k miles on it.... I aslo know that it runs lean when accelerating and rich when idling? And I had obd code p0441 come up.. something about the evap purge flow valve? I am new to all of this so I am sorry if I don't make sence

 

How is your idle, I just sent my pcm back out for a re-tune?

 

my idle is fine.. its set at 900 and doesnt bounce around.. i was thinking it was just a crappy tune on it so i think im gonna switch my pcm to obd1 and get it retuned for my cam and what not.. i live in wyoming so i have no emissions lol.. it seems like it bogs right when the cam kicks in at 2200 then runs fine at like 2500... i was told i have a vacuum leak but cant find it anywhere... this car is heavily built pushing around 380hp and 400tq.. i heard thats good for an lt1? all motor
