Purchased '94 Z28 rolling chassis. Found a '96 LT1 and auto to install. My options are to keep '94 PCM and harness and use new motor/tranny combo, or can swap complete harness and PCM from the '96 into the car. Trying to do what is easiest...have heard that '96 automatics might not work with '94 computer. Which way should I go.
I understand that some changes/ rewiring will have to be done no matter what. Also, engine will be modified, so PCM is going to have to be reprogrammed also.
Also, are there any major fuel system changes needed? Or are the two years compatible.
