Talking Just got my FIRST Camaro!!!! (PICS)

Hi everybody!
Like the title says I just got my first camaro! Its a black '93 Z28 6-speed manual. Its got 109k miles and its not in too bad of shape. I know it definately needs a new optispark because it backfires like crazy. I'm 18 and I've been looking for a muscle car for a while now, and I almost bought a classic Mustang two separate times. I've always loved camaros ever since I was a little kid; a guy down the street had a 2nd gen. I would have never thought I'd end up getting a 93!!! I love it though, and it will be a great project car.

Congratulations, welcome to the fever. Good year by the way in that 93's were speed density, you can get chips burned for your car very inexpensively by comparison to ODBI & II PCMs.

Just fill your power steering to the marked capacity on the cap/tube, it's marked. While it's idling steer back n forth to bleed any air and fill as needed.

Im re-doing the whole system. I need to know how much fluid is needed to fill the empty system. I'm gussing its just 1 quart give or take

Im pretty sure my lost most of the fluid in the pump and lines, Not the rack though, It took about 3\4 of a quart. Just fill it up until it stays full and start here up and add as needed. Pretty easy

Thanks for welcoming me to the board guys. I know I'll be spending alot of time here. I got done with the power steering and I'm pretty sure the capacity is 1 quart. It actually has a little less in it now since I lost a little of the new fluid. Its not touching the dipstick so Ill definately top it off. Now the pump doesnt groan as much.

Congrats. I got mine when I was 17 back in '02 w/ 80,000 miles. Its at 91,000 and still going strong. These cars dont run out of steam even after 200,000 miles if they're taken care of. Good choice to pass up the stang.

Congrats!

I just bought my 94 Z as well. I don't know if you've already had a modding bug prior to this car, but beware. Before too long, you're going to want all kinds of goodies.
