LT1 4L60 trans $350
LT1 4L60 trans $350
I have a new 4L60 trans on the way from CPT and I will be pulling my stock 82K mile trans in a week or two.
It works OK under normal driving but I KNOW it will not last after I install NOS and slicks.
The car (97 T/A LT1/4L60 trans) runs 11.5x at 117 MPH on 17" DR's with this trans and if anyone is interested they can come go for a ride while it is in the car.
UPDATE .............................
New trans is being installed today.
$350 for the on I am pulling out.

new trans is in the car alraedy and I have a 8.8 rear end and some light weight Drag Stars going on to offset the weight from he rear end.
Supposed to get a dyno tune from Bryan at PCMforless when he comes down soon.
Hopefully run some 11.5's in the heat and 11.3's in cold weather.
Might install some NOS by the end of the year and run some mid 10's.
After all of that, I will sell the car and build a Mustang with LS1.

yea, carbed LS1 in a Mustang Coupe is the way to go.
3000 lbs with driver and about 50-75 more HP from the LS1.
6.70's N/A and high 5's in a street driven car that is not any more radical than I have now.
LIGHT is FAST.
