96 camaro headers

Been trying to find some headers for my 96 Camaro lt1, only shows the speed engineering ones fit. Is there any others someone recommends? I cant seem to find any.

Re: 96 camaro headers

Do you need “emissions compliant” headers?

Re: 96 camaro headers

Kooks, J2 Engineering, Hooker, Stainless Works, Pacesetter all show up in a Google search, probably a few more. Pacesetters seem popular with regard to fit and performance on the low-cost end, Best you can buy - Kooks, Stainless Works (big $$$$). Also check Summit. They appear to have shorties and long tubes, although I searched for 93-97 Camaro LT1, did not verify each of their offerings.

Not a lot of members posting here any more, so not a lot of up-to-date feedback on specific brands. I sold my 9-second Formula 2 years ago, and the buyer wanted the set of Hooker Super Comp long tubes I had bought, but never installed. He's trying to push the car deeper into the 9’s.

Spend a few extra bucks and get Kooks and have them coated. Best fit and ground clearance, IMO.

I've got coated Kooks and have been very happy with them.
