95 Z28 won't start

I had a new water pump put on and pick it up on Monday. Drove it 60 miles ran fine now it will not start. It turns over if it does try to start i runs for 3-5 seconds then dies. It kinda acts as though it is flooded but I don't think that is it. Any ideas? Could it be something they did with the pump change out. Like getting fluid on the opispark?

Sounds feasible, but regardless take it back to the people who just worked on it. Look for coolant leaks, and see if after a couple of hours it starts again. If you have access to a code reader hook it up and see if there are any codes.

I plan on returning it but suspect they will try to charge me if the opti spark is bad. I woundered if it seems right that they caused it to go out. Will just getting water on the opti cause it to need to be replaced?

Put the pedal all the way to the floor and try to start it. Or you can pull a plug and see if it smells like gas.

Did they replace the timing chain at all? The only thing I think that they could have messed up would be the timing chain, but if that were true then I don't see how you drove it 60 miles just fine.

How old is the opti? You just might need to change the cap and rotor. Check for spark at the plugs and not that you have spark but a constant spark.

I have tried the pedal to the floor to no result. The opti is 3 years old and less than 6000 miles on it (the car has 34000 miles). I have not pulled the plug to check for spark I will do that tonight. My biggest concern is if you guys think water from changing the
H2O pump could take out the opti? The timing chain was not change and your right it would not run if it was off.

This seems like the most likely scenario.
