95 z28 troubles...

I have a 95 z28 and here is the problem i am having with it. When i go to start it, it takes a few cranks to get it going. And today i was driving and the car would randomly stall out every now and then. I replaced the plugs (all but one, the number 2 plug) and changed the fuel filter today as well. Air Filter has been changed as well. Im starting to think its the opti-spark but idk.

what do you think?

With 100k on the clock I would recommend that you clean your TB, and particularly the IAC.

alright, thanks. Got a new low spark side of the optispark, so lets see if that fixes it. (there was oil in the old one so....)

If you have 100k on the oem opti, it might be wise to do a complete replacement since you have it apart.

also check to make sure you have good fuel pressure, which is a very common problem when hard starting is involved
