95 Z28 Suspension

First time post, new member.
Hello fellow members. I'm Kevin =)

I recently purchased a 02 Z28 w/8K miles on it and noticed a night to day difference in the ride compared to my 95 Z28 w/150K miles, 3rd set of GM dealer replaced shocks & struts.
Additional: Lots of creeking, squeeking and minor popping is experienced from the 95 Z28
Conditions: Daily driver, Calif Freeways. No strip runs. Minor - Med open road runs 100 - 130 mph lonesome desert straights.
95 Z28: Stock Engine, AM Exhaust, BFG Comp T/A 255/50/ZR16

What would the group recommend I do to achieve that nice tight factory enjoyable ride or better than factory.
I can spend some cash on this subject, within reason tho.
Thanks

Welcome Kevin,

Replace the rubber bushings in the suspension with new rubber or switch to polyurethane ones. Polyurethane will transmit more vibrations though.

Subframe connectors make a HUGE improvment. Even help your new car.

Add HD Bilstein shocks to the list. Might as well get a set of replacement springs from SLP while they stil lhave them (if you want stock springs). Dirt cheap, too.

Its an older car, and older cars do tend to flex and bend more in my opinion. When I went to put on my SFCs, not everything lined up perfectly. I think it was from years of chassis flex.
