i have a 95 z28 i just bought, new motor w/ reciepts with 1800 miles on the motor. i knew the guy who had, and before he bought it i planned on buying it so i know it did run good. somehow while he owned it it started messing up and wouldnt start so i bought it from him to repair.


- it wouldnt start, i changed the plugs and fuel filter and it started a little but ran rough. I then drained the fuel thru the line where the fuel filter connects. ran decent then wouldnt start back up 20 minutes later. i dropped the tank and cleaned it out and put new fuel in it. it started up and ran alright for a few seconds then i drove it a little and it acted like it was missing really bad. next i gutted the cat to see if it was clogged and it started and idled but then did the missing deal again. (through out all of this it has been had to get it started, having to turn it over a lot) i then hooked it up to see if it was firing right and it wasnt firing at all, but yet it starts occasionally? i bought a coil to put on tomorrow, it has a brand new coil pack already, so im running out of things i know to do to it without having to pay someone to work on it. IF YOU KNOW OF ANYTHING ELSE IT MIGHT BE OTHER THAN THE COIL LET ME KNOW!!!
if i cant fix this thing soon its goin up for sale probably, 95 z28 w/ tan leather and t56 6 speed tranny.
