of course the guy told you he was quoted for 1700...he wants to sell the car. stay far far away from that car. nice ta's are out there, you just have to look hard and stay patient. i bought my car from a friend but he had to fly out to pittsburgh to buy it when he originally got it.

Nice Uncle , I wouldnt even give him the business..Keep looking, Ive been on autotrader the past few weeks and theres a few really nice 6spd LT1s in the tri state area

wow....just from browsing the lt1 ta's they're still going for a decent price around here. it doesn't really suprise me because fbods are all over around here but there are very few other ta's. i drive a lot to and from work on major roads and i'll see 2 in a week if i'm lucky.
