95 Optispark rotor work on a 94 optispark?

95 Optispark rotor work on a 94 optispark?
I got a bud who just blew his optispark and he really would enjoy not having to pay $240 for a new rotor and we have a 96 rotor just lying around. Could we just plug the vacuum line on the new rotor and get it to go?
