Hey there new guy on the block here...Purchased a complete 1994 Camaro z28 with an LT1 350, swapped it into my 1995 which was 3800 v6 swapped out wiring harness and computer and such, bolted everything in have fuel, and cranks over but will not fire, this thing ran perfect before and drove perfect before, but now seems to have no spark..power to the coil power to the icm, cranks over but no spark, have checked grounds..checked the pulse to the injectors and does not seem to be a pulse there either, i am pulling out my hair and can't figure this out...Help please.............

Have you scanned it for codes? Sounds like you may have something like DTC 16 for loss of low resolution pulse from the cam position sensor in the Opti.

 

Tried to read it last night around 10 pm with local garage guy here, can't read no power to the reader, wich means no power to the ecm..I believe
The orange wire to the ecm I think is the power wire, can anyone confirm that for me

And I have to correct, the car is a 1995 which had 3800, the donor car was a 1994 with lt1 350, so the title of my post should read 1994 camaro lt1 won't start....

 

Well it took me a few days but it's figured out now was no power to the ecm!!!

Man does she sound wicked!!!! Roll on boys and have fun out there!!

Now for mods any suggestions??
