95 lt1 misfire

I have a 95 lt1 that has a bad misfire. I have been through the plugs and wires a hundred times. It only happens when the engine is warm and at WOT it clears up. Sometimes it happens at idle. It feels like a couple cylinders are dropping. It has no codes. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

im going through the same thing on my 93. i just put in a new opti, and even replaced 1 wire that was kinda corroded where it plugged into the old opti.

i thought it was bad gas...but a fresh tank and its still there....

i am gonna swap out the coil and ignition module tomorrow off my caprice and see if that makes a difference, otherwise, i may be leaning towards the pcm to opti wire....

my misfire is horrible below 3k rpm, but after that, like you it clears up...if you figure something out, post the solution....sorry i couldnt help you more!!
good luck

be careful about that ICM its different from the camaro to the caprice. You need to get one for a camaro. If i figure it out i will post it up.

well I put new wires and coil I still have the same problem. Still only when warmed up the only two things left are to change the plugs which are new and change off the optispark.

im having the same issue... only its on #2 cylinder only and throws a cylinder 2 missfire code.

I have diagnosed mine as a blown head gasket

I replaced the plugs and wires miss still there, swapped #2 and 4 injector miss still on cylinder #2. im loosing coolant (water) over about a weeks time and have been seeing more and more smoke out the tail pipe (ok actually clouds of it billowing out) It has a blueish tint to it from what i think is the water washing the cylinder walls and covering the white steam look. with the washed oil. I have noticed moisture in my oil cap but never on the dipstick. I have no other water leaks.

so maybe this can help someone else later with a similar problem.
