its kicking out a code 36 and 42 the car will start if you hold the gas pedel and crank it two or three times. changed icm,map,tp everything, is it the opti next please help. Oh once it starts it runs like sh*t idles like at 2000 rpm up and down till it dies

 

DTC 36 is for loss of high resolution pulse from the Opti. But that will not keep it from starting, or make it run rough.

DTC 42 is for problems with the IC Module, but there are several related parts that can cause the code. There's a fairly detailed logic tree in the factory manual that tells you how to trougle shoot DTC 42.
