95 Camaro Fuse block -- no large fuses for fans?

Where are the large 40 amp fuses for the Camaro's cooling fans? They aren't in the fuse box... there is only one small 10amp fuse in the box in charge of the fans. Are they located somewhere else, or does the car not have them?

thanks!

No fuses on the f-body. They use fusible links.

Re: 95 Camaro Fuse block -- no large fuses for fans?

interesting -- should i just snip the wire and splice in a 40 amp fuseable link? Or is there a stock piece i should pick up? It's odd because in the Impala/caprice there was both a small 10 amp fuse to protect the relay and a larger 40 amp fuse to protect the fans, after the fuse block. It looks like there's just one small 10 amp fuse for both fans pre-relay and then one fuseable link to protect the fans. Wonder why GM cheaped out?

A fusible link is just as good at protecting the fans as a fuse.

It is just an alternate way to provide current protection. I would imagine a fusible link is less expensive, but it is no less protective. Either way works.
