Angry 94 z-28 wont start after de-grease

i de-greased the engine and sprayed it down after 10 minutes and it started right up, then died after 5 minutes of running and now wont start. i took the compresser and blew out everything under the hood and it still wont start. is there someplace under there where i need to get dried out. it sat overnight and still wont start. can anybody help me?

If you didn"t do this , you should have covered the computer along with the opti spark & kept the car running while cleaning. You should never spray the entire engine bay at full pressure. Maybe one of these two item's got to much water on them and died. Good luck & hopefully other reply's follow.

99% chance you fried the optispark. Spraying/cleaning the engine bay is a classic newbie mistake.

Interestingly enough the previous owner warned me about the opti when I bought my Camaro... so I didn't get to make that newb mistake

He said he went to the car wash, popped the hood and sprayed the engine really well. It was pretty but it no longer ran

1 opti later and he was back in business.

Its the most common 1st time LT1 owner mistake!!

Next is modding

Then your opti blows up at 7000 rpm.
